THIRTYONE Design+Management, by Claudia Campone, designs Dior pop up store in Capri, by reinterpreting the traditional local ceramics enriching them with an exotic and warm weave of bamboo, the space offers a resort immersive retail experience.
Dior presence is gently invading the space, designed by thirtyone, in a continuous dialogue with the ‘genius loci’ of the island, whose typical vegetation becomes a major feature of the project.
The ceramics, broken and reassembled, have in fact been developed as a custom project by Teamworks and Matter of Stuff and it combines the french textile tradition of the ‘toile de jouy’ with Italian carftmanship.
The heart of the project is the small cave on the rocky wall: the studio has emphasized the relationship with the luxuriant nature that surrounds the space by leaving the creepers free to enter the store and by opening the sea views, the result is an en-plen-air retail space that offers an immersive brand experience.
The big terrace overlooking the sea is filled with beach cabins customized with the iconics graphics of the brand, Bayadère and Toile de Jouy, accompanied by the graphics of Pietro Ruffo.
