Gebruder Thonet Vienna (GTV) Storage

Gebruder Thonet Vienna (GTV) Storage. Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH GTV is part of the Viennese-style furniture tradition. It has re-edited a series of Viennese-style classic pieces, created by Michael Thonet and his five sons, and has been making exquisite objects that harmoniously combine functionality and elegance. Also collaborating with world-renowned designers, GTV continues to create new pieces, while revisiting iconic designs, such as the famous chair n.14, the “coffee house chair” with its bent beech wood backrest. Its pieces are distinguished by the WIENER GTV DESIGN trademark. As the new century dawned, the company began to collaborate with avant-garde Vienna Secession architects, including Otto Wagner, who designed the Postparkasse furniture collection, and Adolf Loos, who created the Café Museum chair. In addition to the Otto Wagner and Adolf Loos collections, the Wiener GTV Design catalogue includes re-editions of other iconic pieces that have made the company's - and design - history. Today Gebrüder Thonet Vienna is part of the Moschini Group headed by Poltrona Frau founder Franco Moschini. Thanks to its renewed association with the world of design, the brand has regained its leading role on the international scene.
