Zieta

Zieta Prozessdesign Studio was set up in 2010 by Oskar Zięta, an architect and designer, chiefly known for his iconic pieces such as the Plopp stool, the Chippensteel chair or the G-Table. All these pieces were created from sheet metal using the FiDU technology developed by Zięta while studying techniques for stabilising sheet metal at ETH Zurich. Since his time in Zurich in the noughties, he and the team have continued to develop the technology, which resulted in large –scale public art that can be seen in Wroclaw, Poland (Nawa) and Warsaw, Poland (Wir). Mirrors designed by Oskar Zięta and manufactured by Zieta Studio are not just objects that reflect the reality and adorn the interior amplifying it optically. Such objects as OKO, RONDO, TAFLA or SONAR are tridimensional mirrored sculptures made of stainless steel polished to a high gloss. Thanks to their manufacturing process with the FiDU technology of inflating metal with air, they are sculpture-like mirrors and mirror-like sculptures at the same time. They can be hung on a wall as single objects of art and arranged into compositions that will fit a given space. TAFLA mirrors work perfectly in such personalized wall installations. Small objects such as PIN and KAMYKI will also make a statement in multiple sets.
