Flik Pendant Light

Karim Rashid has designed Flik for Purho, a lamp which by the designer’s definition is “forged by fire but resembling a drop of water”. A demonstration that the clash between tradition and design has the fundamental merit of transforming essential projects into outcomes with a highly sculptural value. “Flik” is made of Murano blown glass available in two variants, table or pendant, both of which are available in all of the 21 shades shown in the Purho colour chart. Gemello Vase - Purho continues to search for products with complementary shapes with the pair of Gemello and Gemella vases designed by Alessandro Mendini. Sharing the same design concept, the vases play on contrasting volumes, so that the first appears more slender whilst the second has softer lines, a nod towards the male and female silhouettes. Made of Murano glass, clear or with matt finish, the vases can be customized by choosing among the twenty-one shades of the colour chart.
